Licensed Home Inspector
JD Inspections, LLC performs inspections as a Florida licensed home inspector, license HI9000, under Florida's home inspector licensing law and the Standards of Practice adopted by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
What an Inspection Is
A home inspection is a visual, non-invasive evaluation of the readily accessible, installed systems and components of a home on the day of the inspection. It reports observed conditions. It is not an appraisal, a code-compliance inspection, a warranty or a guarantee.
What an Inspection Is Not
An inspection cannot find hidden or concealed defects, conditions that develop after the inspection, or items that are not accessible or safe to reach. An inspector does not predict future performance, and cannot guarantee that a system will keep working. For any concern, a specialist or licensed contractor may be recommended for further evaluation.
Insurance Inspections
Wind mitigation, roof certification and 4-point inspections document the condition and features of the home for an insurance company or other requesting party. The insurance company decides whether to accept a report and whether to offer a discount, coverage or renewal. JD Inspections, LLC does not guarantee any premium discount, coverage decision or acceptance of a report.
Third Nail Retrofit
Information about third nail retrofits on this website is general. Any retrofit work is performed under its own written agreement, and details are provided before work begins.
Pre-Inspection Agreement
Each inspection is performed under a written pre-inspection agreement that sets out the scope, limits and terms of the inspection. If anything on this website differs from your signed agreement, the signed agreement controls.
