Meet Jamie DiLeo
Jamie DiLeo is the owner of JD Inspections, LLC and a Florida licensed home inspector. He has been inspecting homes in Inverness and across Citrus County since 2015, and before that he spent many years in construction. When you hire JD Inspections, you get someone who knows how a house is built and how it fails.
From Construction to Home Inspection
Jamie spent many years in the construction business. He worked with the materials, the framing, the roofs and the systems that make up a home, and he learned what good work looks like and what a shortcut looks like. That hands-on background is a big part of what he brings to every inspection.
Along the way, a friend and colleague in real estate noticed a problem. Many of the home inspections they were seeing came back with information missing or forms filled out wrong. They asked Jamie to look into home inspections.
Jamie took that to heart. He got his Florida home inspector license and started doing home inspections in 2015. In time, he left his construction business to inspect homes full time.
How Jamie Works
Jamie works hard to give homeowners and home buyers an accurate inspection that meets their needs. That means a complete report with nothing left blank, written in plain language so you understand what was found and what it means for you. It's the kind of inspection his real estate friend was looking for when this all started.
Whether you are buying a home, selling one, renewing an insurance policy or checking on a roof, Jamie wants you to feel confident in the answers you get. If you have a question about your report, call and ask. Jamie and the technicians who assist him are glad to explain it.
